Our History YMCA of the Chippewa Valley
WEBOn January 12, 1979 the group purchased four acres of land from the fir association and started a fund-raising drive. On July 10, 1979, the ground was broken and construction began. The building was dedicated on November 2, 1980. The John & Fay Menard YMCA Tennis Center opened in April 2018 and is located next to the entrance to Carson Park.

Mission Moments YMCA of the Chippewa Valley
WEBMidge Luebstorf was an inspiration to many. At 91 years old, she was a regular at the Tuesday & Thursday water exercise classes at the Chippewa Falls YMCA. Sadly, in November, Midge was diagnosed with cancer and passed away in February 2024. Her fellow class participants wanted to ensure her memory lived on at the YMCA.
