Race, Sex and Age. Almost 80% of all the COVID-19 deaths reported were White deaths who died at a rate of 41.8 per 100,000 White population. Black deaths comprised about 15% of the reported coronavirus deaths and the mortality rate was 61.1 per 100,000 Black population.
