How do I interpret my dog’s health results

How do I activate my dog's test
WEBTo get started: Log in to your Embark account . Click on Activate kit near your dog's name. On the next page, enter your 7 or 8-digit EM code . Please note: If your EM code does not work, click on "Don't have an activation code?." You'll then be prompted to enter the 14-digit swab code (it typically starts with 310 or 312) found on the swab tube.

Via your dog's Profile: Certain Apps may open a window with the results link embedded. Complete the action within the application chosen.
How do I print or download my dog's results
WEBSteps to get a printer-friendly version of the results in PDF format. Log into your Embark account. From your homepage, select the dog you wish to print/download results for. Clicking that dog’s profile card will bring you to their Summary page. On the Summary page, you will see multiple options that include downloadable and shareable reports.
Can I upgrade my Breed ID test kit to include Health & Traits
WEBWe use a la carte pricing for when customers purchase health results separately from a Breed Identification Kit. The reason why the upgrade price is more is because our Breed + Health Kit and our Purebred Kit are actually a discounted bundle of the two.
What is included in the Embark for Breeders test kits
WEBThe Breeder kit includes tests for genetic diversity, health conditions, and traits. You can see all our health testing here and our trait testing here. Most genotyping results will be completed in 2-4 weeks from the time we scan your swab at our lab. Completion times may vary for other Embark products. Check the status of your test here!

Embark will test every dog for all of the genetic diseases that we can screen for. We do this because we have seen new diseases crop up in breeds that historically have not had issues in that area.
How long does it take to receive my dog's test results
WEBOnce we receive your sample at our lab, it will begin processing. Typically, turnaround time is approximately 2-4 weeks from the date we scanned your swab for you to obtain your dog's results. Please remember that it is the customer's responsibility to properly activate each swab to their dog's MyEmbark profile.
