WEBI get a heavy exhaust smell (like rotten eggs) in my cab when sitting still, mainly when the windows are down or (especially) when the door is open. No gas fumes, just stinky exhaust smell. All I can figure is that it's coming from a condensation drain hole in the exhaust pipe crossover tube that runs underneath the front seat area.

WEBI realize that e-fans would basically solve the problem since they wouldn't be running in the cold like the mechanical fan that's in there now, thing is that e-fans aren't in the budget right now, cardboard is, hehe. 2002 4.2 v6 temp gauge and oil temp light high idle

WEBReason is both are equally undesirable to engine health. Loss of oil pressure is as bad as overheating. Normally when the computer gets a low temperature signal it will richen up the fuel and may even raise the idle,. This is the same thing that happens on a cold start in cold temperatures when it is needed. Any other time its a fault indicator.
