On Monday, August 15, sometime between lunch and 5:30 p.m., Dr. Joe Tipton, an 83-year-old retired veterinarian, was attacked in his home. A tenant who lives in a house behind Tipton became worried because he hadn’t seen “Dr. Joe”, as his friends call him, in several hours.
